Son of Jacaré II and Dorinha, Lajeado was born in Alter on April Fools' Day, April 1, 2015. From his father’s side, Jacaré II, he has several talented brothers at the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art: Ajacto, Cajabel, Hojival, Ijaque, Ninja, Ojier and Ojota. Lajeado is also the grandson of the famous Rubi, who has achieved many achievements, most notably his participation in the London Olympics in 2012, having placed 16th in the KUR final. His rider emphasizes that Lajeado is very friendly, docile and gentle but also temperamental. His specialty are the Caprioles by hand and while ridden.
