Jicabo was born in Alter on April 17, 2014. The son of Coronel and Ralaça, he is the brother of Icanto, Jacaré III and Machado on his father's side and Hobelix, on his mother's side. He is also the grandson of the famed horse Ruby, who at the London Olympics in 2012 placed 16th in the KUR final. Despite being a bit fearful, Jicabo is a tame and balanced horse in the three gaits and thus he is in preparation to participate in the Carousel.
