Dirupe was born in the first month of 2008, on the 23rd, and entered the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art at the age of four. A brother of Barão, Baritono, Dourado, Jiripiti, Jura and Paron, he is the son of the renowned Olympic stallion Rubi who, in addition to many other achievements, participated in the London Olympics in 2012, placing 16th in the KUR final. His mother is Suiça II and according to his rider Dirupe is a “good boy”, who “doesn’t cause any fuss” and has shown particular aptitude for the Capriole by hand, having already performed in the Airs Above the Ground.
