The King’s Toilette

The King’s Toilette was designed for hygiene, the exchange of clothing and for the care of Ferdinand II’s beard. For such purposes, there was a mahogany lavatory, a basin and water jug and in addition to a mirror to facilitate the shaving. The room also provided the king with a desk where he would be able to deal with correspondence in a perfectly private environment that would avoid any interruptions.
