Intervention in the new facilities of the museological reserve of the National Palace of Sintra

On 14 January, works began at the parking area of the GNR in the village of Sintra as part of the intervention in the new facilities of the museological reserve of the National Palace of Sintra, located in the former stables. Due to the excavation and the restoration of the pavement, the existing parking area on the lateral side of the palace is no longer available. The courtyard will temporarily serve as an alternative parking area for vehicles.

These works will continue until February, at which point a trench will be opened in the courtyard, between the tunnel and the Jardim da Preta. This intervention will be carried out in phases, in sections, to minimise the impact on visitors as much as possible.
