The Palace of Sintra in Other Senses
Description:
All along the museological route in the National Palace of Sintra, visitors are invited to get to know the space through sensory exploration. Touch is a favourite, with touchable replicas of some of the most significant pieces, as well as hearing, to listen to the dimension of the space. The experience is led by a specialised guide who will approach historical content along with other topics, such as the various construction phases, what life was like in the space, the functional parts of the building, and the production techniques for the original tiles and furniture.
