Description
The species of flora and fauna that characterise this site, the geological formation of the Sintra hills and the consequent climatic implications that made it possible for a very special ecosystem to emerge, are some of the themes approached during this walking route. We also explore the landscape manifestations of the Romantic cultural movement of the 19th century, which determined the reinvention of the landscape of Sintra as we know it today.
