Exactly one year before the 30th anniversary of the UNESCO classification of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra as a World Heritage Site, one of the most eagerly anticipated events will take place: the Palace of Pena will open its doors at night.

This night visit marks the beginning of the celebrations, which will feature numerous special events over the course of 12 months. One of these will be SintraPH30, a programme offering unique activities for younger audiences, aimed at showcasing Sintra's heritage in an innovative way.

Additional Information

As an exception, ticket holders for this visit will be allowed to take the Calçada da Pena and park in the car parks along the road leading to the main entrance of the Park.

The time stated on the ticket corresponds to the entry time for the Palace, not the Park entrance time. Therefore, you should arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled time at the Park entrance. Access to the Palace is exclusively via the transfer service, located near the main entrance of the Park.

Ticket purchases are made exclusively online, through the official Parques de Sintra ticket office, and the visit is limited to the available spaces.
