Henrique Calado Riding Ring and Nora Pateo (Calçada da Ajuda, Lisbon)

Take a look behind the scenes, see how the handlers care for the horses and, at Henrique Calado Riding Ring, watch the warm-up and agility exercises performed by riders dressed in period costumes who, respecting the rhythm, health and physical needs of each horse, ensure the appropriate training for the high level of the galas and shows of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art.

To the sound of engaging period music, you can then attend the training and rehearsals of the complex Equestrian Art exercises and choreographies that recreate the charming atmosphere of the 17th century. XVIII Portuguese court, both in the Nora Patio and at the Henrique Calado Riding Ring.

*Photographs and videos are allowed in the Nora Patio without the use of flash; they are however not allowed in the Henrique Calado Riding Ring.
