Loulé Jazz Trio + Jorge Rossy

The Loulé Jazz Trio, with João Pedro Coelho on piano, António Quintino on double bass and João Lopes Pereira on drums, was born from a national competition organised by the Municipality of Loulé. The project's main objectives are to explore the range of styles to be interpreted and to communicate the language of jazz to an increasingly broad and diverse audience, with a new solo musician always being invited to perform some of trio's repertoire with them.

This time around they will perform with the acclaimed drummer and vibraphonist Jorge Rossy, whose projects always combine the search for a distinctive sound with a highly synergistic aesthetic, in a unique and unprecedented collaboration that will certainly leave its mark on this edition of the festival.

Desta vez, irão apresentar-se com Jorge Rossy, aclamado baterista e vibrafonista cujos projetos partilham sempre a procura de um som distintivo e uma estética recheada de cumplicidade. O músico é conhecido por ter participado em alguns dos mais importantes álbuns da atualidade, entre os quais se destacam colaborações com Brad Mehldau, Ethan Iverson, Chris Cheek, Joshua Redman, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Joe Chambers e Mark Turner, entre muitos outros.
