The closing concert of Jazz at Monserrate 2023 brings us the sounds of Carlos Paredes' world through the musical reading of Bernardo Moreira. With the album “Entre Paredes”, released in 2021, and winner of the 2022 Carlos Paredes Award, the double bassist returned to the work of the genius Portuguese guitarist, inviting musicians from different generations to celebrate many journeys with him between Jazz, Fado, Song and the Fado of Coimbra.

In this special concert, there is room for a guest who needs no introduction, the singer Cristina Branco, who will add her unique voice to this luxury sextet on this late afternoon at Monserrate.
A sublime ending to a Festival that aims to be diverse, free and plural.
