Due to the instability of the weather conditions, the Jazz at Monserrate concerts concerts scheduled for September 17 were cancelled as the necessary comfort and safety conditions are not met. Learn more about ticket refunds here.
Pursuing the goal of creating audiences, getting people to listen and stimulating creativity, very close to the wrapping up of the Jazz at Monserrate 2023 cycle, we invited the trio composed of Miguel Calhaz (double bass), Luísa Vieira (voice and flute) and João Mortágua (saxophone) to take us on a journey through the world of jazz.
On stage, using objects that at first glance seem to have nothing to do with music, the three musicians run through the decades that preceded us, showing us how a scale is built, allowing us contact with the sounds and history of jazz. And always with the participation of the audience, parents and children, in the Park of Monserrate on this September morning.
