Parques de Sintra opens a new shop at the Cabo da Roca Lighthouse

Since 21 March, the Cabo da Roca Lighthouse, an important landmark of the territory and extension of the Cultural Landscape of Sintra, now has a Parques de Sintra shop. At this new point of sale located at the westernmost tip of continental Europe, visitors can find a selection of items that emphasise Portugal's connection to the Atlantic Ocean, highlighting the richness of this heritage and its ecosystems. Among textiles, books and stationery, and items designed for children, the new shop aims to be a vehicle for promoting the best of local and regional production, always bearing in mind the value of sustainability.

The shop N 38º 47' W 9º 30' is the first facility to open to the public within the scope of a collaboration protocol signed between Parques de Sintra and the Directorate-General for Maritime Authority (DGAM) for the joint management of the Cabo da Roca Lighthouse, which aims to boost visitor numbers to the site and improve reception conditions.

The space is open every day between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. In addition to items for sale, the shop also sells tickets for the parks and monuments under the management of Parques de Sintra.
